STEFAN MINOVICI

Stefan Minovici, founder and President of MIC & Associates, has extensive business start-up and development experience gained both in the United States and internationally, working with multinationals and government agencies to drive cross-border ventures and catalyze trade, investments and complex industrial endeavors.

Mr. Minovici has managed various high-profile projects for major clients, including the governments of Chile, Romania, Slovenia, Moldova, Ukraine and the United States, multinationals such as CEMEX, Raytheon, ITT Defense and financial institutions such as Daiwa Securities, HSBC and Credit Lyonnais. Notable among these achievements, as Senior Trade and Marketing Executive for Pro-Chile, the Investment and Trade Promotion department of the Chilean government, Mr. Minovici oversaw direct US investment to Chile reach $4.2 billion in 1994.

Prior to founding MIC & Associates in 1997, Stefan Minovici was a senior vice-president at CMG International, a New York based advertising, marketing and public relations firm, where he helped build the international business department. During his tenure at CMG, Mr. Minovici setup and managed the emerging markets division for Central and Eastern Europe, which proved to be the main engine of growth for CMG International.

Mr. Minovici is the publisher of ZIUA USA, the largest Romanian-American weekly in the western hemisphere. He is also the creator and producer of the leading Festival outside the borders of Romania – The Romania Day Festival Broadway, which brings together annually over 25,000 participants on the famed New York City boulevard. A former National President of the Union & League of Romanian Societies of America (est.1906), Mr. Minovici is a scholar and a leading authority in Romanian and Central Eastern European Affairs and has prevalent expertise in National Defense and Homeland Security. Stefan Minovici received his BA from Hunter College with Dual Honors in Communications and Journalism and holds a Masters in International Affairs with a focus on Central Eastern European Studies (International Security Policy) and a Certificate of the Institute on East Central Europe, both from Columbia University.
