On May 14th the leadership of MIC & Associates met in Timisoara with His Eminency Ion Salajan, Metropolitan of Timisoara and the Banat region.
The rare and special occasion took place at the residence of His Eminency in Timisoara in the company of Father Timotei Ansoriac, Entrepreneur Lucian Perescu, MIC President Stefan Minovici, VP Doru Epure and businessman Andrei Del Cet. Following the meeting all parties traveled to various strategic locations within the city of Timisoara. The MIC President and His Eminency talked about their efforts to enhance the role of the church within the Romanian community in the United States, various healthcare issues, including but not limited to the global Covid crisis, as well as the contribution that our Romanian community can make to the efforts of the Romanian Orthodox Church in Romania.
The meeting concluded with the Metropolitan accepting an invitation to visit the United States in the near future as the dialog between both leaders will continue in the following months.
