Final “Wild Carpathia” Documentary Presented at the United Nations

On Tuesday, June 27, The Romanian Cultural Institute in New York (ICRNY), in partnership with the Permanent Mission of Romania to the United Nations, has organized the North American premiere of the latest episode of Wild Carpathia, a world acclaimed documentary. The episode entitled “Seasons of Change” was featured in the Trusteeship Council Chamber at the UN Headquarters in New York. The project is part of the ICRNY 2017 Annual Program, coordinated by Mr. Razvan Dinu, relations officer at the institute.

At the opening of the event were present the Romanian Permanent Representative to the UN, Ambassador Ion Jinga, UN General Assembly President Peter Thomson and Wild Carpathian creator and documentary filmmaker Charlie Ottley. ICR New York was also represented by Mr. Mircea Suciu, its deputy director. The screening of the film was preceded by a video message from His Royal Highness Prince of Wales, the British Crown heir, and an active promoter of Romanian heritage and values.
More than 300 guests attended the event, including UN General Assembly President Peter Thomson, UN Ambassadors and Diplomats, Senior Officials and Members of the Secretariat of the Organization, journalists and distinguished members of the Romanian community in New York. The MIC & Associates was represented by Stefan Minovici, Yanni Deconescu, Dr. Mihaela Vladutiu and Alex Cuzic.
