Hellenic Medical Center reopens in a brand new facility in Astoria, New York

In December 2011, a revamped medical clinic, Hellenic Medical Center, reopened for business in a Queens, New York. The medical establishment underwent a $6 million renovation and upgrade and caters to large number of patients from all five boroughs of New York. The facility offers an extensive array of medical services, including, but not limited to, orthopedics, otolaryngology, cardiology, pediatrics, gynecology, ophthalmology.

The six stories structure, designed to meet the ever-increasing healthcare needs of the population of Queens, is located in the heart of an ethnically diverse neighborhood, which draws its population from regions such as the Balkans, the Middle East and Asia.

Hellenic Medical Center is affiliated with North Shore LIJ Hospital, a renowned hospital conglomerate that has recently acquired Lennox Hill and MEETH hospitals in Manhattan.

Mr. Minovici, a healthcare developer, holds a partnership interest in this venture, together with two New York physicians.
