Following the Eleventh Annual Festival – Romania Broadway – and lobbying efforts by MIC & Associates, on May 14th, Governor David A. Paterson has proclaimed the month of May, 2010, the Romanian Heritage Day in the State of New York and May 1, the Romania National Day in the State of New York. It is for the effort time in the history of the state when such honors are bestowed upon the Romanian-American community in New York.
